Quick Summary of What to Expect

Hello, welcome to my site. I decided to make my own blog site reviewing video games because I've always wanted to start one. I've been playing games for so many years, and considering how much the video game industry has changed over those years, I feel like I have some stuff to say about it all. I'm not sure I'm going to have a number ranking system, because what good is a number without any explanation to it, and at that point, you might as well just listen to the explanation as there will be more information to get out of it then just some number. Also, number ranking then suggests that one game is "better" then another, and while its true some games really can be BETTER, every game has at least SOMETHING to bring to the table (well... almost every game).

As for which games I'll be reviewing, mostly the games I'm playing right now. There is only one reviewer on this site, and I'm not getting paid for it so basically I have the freedom to review anything I want at any time. So the real question is, what games then do I play? Well, mainly I love games with any level of commitment, which is probably generally why I play RPG's the most. However, I still play just about every other type of game out there except sports games because lately they have all sucked (thanks EA), but that includes racing games, puzzle games, action games, first person shooters, turn-based games, the occational "artsy game", seriously just about everything. But what I mean by games with commitment, are games where there's reason to keep coming back and playing it, but just because it has you commited doesn't mean it's always fun (hint: MMO's (which I still dabble in occationally)).

As for a quick list of games I'm playing right now:

Fallout 3
Black and White 2
Final Fantasy 3 (snes emulators ftw)
Mario Kart Wii
Mega Man 9

Yes, I play other games, but Fallout 3 is so big that its pretty much ALL I play right now. My first review will probably be Final Fantasy 3, because it's probably my favorite game of all time (euphoria? we shall see), and I figure what better way to start my own review blogsite with a review of one of my "lifetime favorites".
